Introducing the innovative Power Cord Flexibility Tester - your premier solution for assessing supply cord endurance and reliability.
Product details: Featuring the advanced Model ZLT-JDW1R, a testament to modern engineering excellence.
Designed to perform rigorous continuous bending tests, this apparatus ensures compliance with IEC60335-1 clause 25.14 figure 8 and IEC60745-1, by executing precise swivelling movements at the supply cord entry point of appliances.
The appliance section with the inlet opening is carefully secured to the oscillating member, ensuring that when the cord is midway through its movement, its axis aligns vertically and intersects the oscillation axis, while flat cords remain parallel to this axis for optimal testing accuracy.
Each cord is strategically loaded, applying a specifically calculated force to maintain rigorous testing standards.
For cords with a nominal cross-sectional area over 0.75 mm², a force of 10 N is meticulously applied.
A force of 5 N is applied to other cords, ensuring comprehensive testing across all cord types.
The distance X, depicted in figure 8, between the oscillation axis and the cord's entry point into the appliance, is finely tuned. This adjustment ensures minimal lateral motion as the oscillating member traverses its full range, thus maintaining test integrity.
The oscillating member executes a precise 90° movement (45° on either side of the vertical), with type Z attachments undergoing 20,000 flexings and other attachments 10,000. The flexing occurs at a consistent rate of 60 per minute, ensuring thorough durability testing.
Standard Outfit: A comprehensive suite of components for unmatched testing capability:
1 electric drive motor equipped with reduction and swiveling gear, ensuring smooth operation.
1 output shaft featuring adjustable swiveling angles of 45°, 60°, or 90° on either side of the vertical.
1 set of precision-calibrated weights ranging from 5N to 10N, tailored for various testing scenarios.
1 adjustable speed mechanism to fine-tune swiveling frequency between 10 to 60 rpm, offering versatile testing speeds.
1 state-of-the-art control unit equipped with a 6-digit predetermining counter to automatically halt the drive and record swiveling occurrences upon sample open circuit detection.
1 robust control circuit with a 3 kVA power output, providing consistent power supply to the specimen for accurate testing conditions.
