Designed to rigorously assess the mechanical strength of portable cooking appliances^,specifically the induction wok hotplates, in strict compliance with IEC60335-2-9 clause 21.101 and IEC 60335-2-6 clause 21.102.
The hotplate operates at its rated power input with controls set to the maximum. As per IEC60335-2-9 clause 11, once steady conditions are reached, the hotplate is turned off, and a vessel with a horizontally oriented base is dropped from a height of 150 mm onto the cooking zone.
Standard Outfit Includes:
1 Vessel featuring an aluminum base, with a diameter of 120 mm±10 mm, weighing (0.5±0.01) kg.
1 Impact support with a drop height of 150 mm.
